1. Your factory ECU is located in the passenger side (right hand side)
footrest area. To get to this first remove your floor mats. Then
remove the plastic screws holding the plastic cover and the plastic door trim.
Remove the plastic door trim, it will pop out after removing the screws.

2. Pull back the carpet to reveal the aluminum kick panel. Remove
the three 10mm bolts on the kick panel to expose the ECU.

3. Obviously we forgot to take pictures for this step so you are seeing
everything installed. But hte ECU sits like that from the factory.
Locate the two 10mm bolts holding the ECU in place. Remove these bolts to
loosen the ECU. Disconnect the harnesses from the ECU (by depressing on
the clips) and pull the ECU out.

4. Using a phillips screw driver, remove the ECU box cover.

5. Remove your factory ECU board and replace with Link ECU board.

6. If you are running the Serial Link, at this time connect the serial link.
There is no room for the cable to lead out from the factory ECU box, so you can
just bend the box a little to allow a gap for the cable to feed out.

7. Reinstall the ECU using the reverse of the removal instructions.
8. Remove your front 02 sensor. This sensor is connected to your factory
manifold. It is very important that you do this, as the Link ECU is not
compatible of managing the front 02 sensor and it will burn out if left in the
car. This is a $150+ sensor, we recommend you remove it. You can
plug up the hole with any properly threaded bolt from Home Depot.
9. Remove any cel fixes, etc. from your secondary 02 sensor (on the
downpipe). The Link ECU will use this sensor for Lambda (closed loop)
tuning.
10. You are ready to go. Your car will start right off the bat and
be drivable. If you are heavily modified we STRONGLY recommend
professional tuning before you run your car hard. Failure to properly
tune your car before driving can result in serious engine damage.
