We created the Gruppe-S Power Package
#2 to satisfy the needs of WRX owners that are simply not satisfied with
a moderate increase in power. Our economically priced power package #2 will turn a
factory WRX into a true street-king while maintaining every-day
drivability. Our Power Package #2
removes the restrictive factory turbo and replaces it with the much
larger IHI VF-34 turbocharger unit found on the 287HP Rally-bred
Japanese version WRX STI-RA models. This turbo features larger turbine and
compressor housings as well as a new ball bearing design that allows
for much more power in the upper RPM's without sacrificing the spool-up of the stock turbo. Along with this larger turbo
includes larger WRX STI 565cc injectors and a 255 lbs/hour Walbro
fuel-pump. The additional fuel flow will keep your engine properly
fueled up to the 400HP range. To manage the larger turbo
and fuel system, we provide a pre-tuned ECUtek reflash for your factory
ECU. Combined with our power package #1
this setup is good for 350HP on your WRX. Add a larger top mount or
front mount intercooler, and your properly tuned WRX will put down a
whopping 375HP!!
(will require retuning). This setup will put a
pump gas (92 octane) WRX deep into the
12 second quarter mile, and out-pace just about any car on the road.

POWER PACKAGE 2 Includes:
*IHI VF-34 Turbo -
The IHI VF-34 Turbo is found on the limited
production Subaru v7 WRX STI-RA (GDB). This turbo is differentiated from the
VF30 through it's more advanced bearing design. The bearing design allows for
much quicker turbo spool-up (depending on tuning, 300-500+ RPMs over the VF30),
while retaining the power capabilities of the VF30. The VF34 is capable
of 350+ HP (~300+whp) This turbo is a direct bolt-on for all GC8, GDA,
GDB EJ20 turbo engines. This is an excellent replacement turbo for those
looking for substantial power gains while maintaining streetability.
*Genuine Subaru 565cc STI Injectors-
The
STI 565cc injectors are OE Subaru high-performance injectors found on the high
horsepower STI, STI-RA, and S202 Impreza models. These injectors are factory
rated at 525cc but because of the common "under-rating" system of Japanese
manufacturers, these injectors have been independently tested to flow 565cc. We
recommend the use of these injectors for applications of 240whp-300whp. A very
good compliment for all IHI VF-series turbos.
*Warlbro GS342 High Pressure Fuel Pump -
The Warlboro Fuel pump is a must have for high HP applications. The Warlboro
fuel pump flows at 255liters/hour and can support applications upwards of
750+HP. This is a must have as a replacement for your factory 140 liter/hour
pump. This pump will increase you fuel pressure slightly.
*Ecutek Reflash
for the factory computerr - Our Ecutek
reflash alters your factory fuel, ignition, and boost parameters to accommodate
for the larger turbo and increased fuel. Our reflash is expertly tuned to
allow for a fine balance between maximum power, driveability, reliability, and
fuel economy. This reflash retains the factory ECU's flexibility in
adapting to rapidly changing conditions, well designed base maps, and the
