With our Stage 3 kit on race gas your stock motor is pretty much at its maximum reliable potential.  Our Stage 4 Power Package transforms your Evolution VIII / IX to a street and track monster.  Our Stage 4 Power Package takes the venerable 4G63 and transforms it to a 4 cylinder monster by increasing displacement from 2.0 -> 2.3 liters and swapping the stock internals with completely forged internals and  race bearings.  Eliminated are the frequent causes of 4G63 failure - spun bearings and cracked pistons.  The stock bore is increased from 85mm to 85.5mm and the stroke is increased to 100mm.  The result is an extra 0.3 liters of displacement, with compression remaining right around 8.8:1. 

Included in the power package is the Gruppe-S 100mm forged crankshaft, Helix forged connecting rods with ARP L19 rod bolts, Wiseco custom spec pistons, and Gruppe-S coated race bearings.  The end result is a big power monster that substantially increases power throughout the power band.  The added displacement is perfect for big turbo cars as well as track and road-race applications.

If you choose to have us build your block for you, we ensure that your engine is specifically suited for your high-performance needs.  The crankshaft is carefully balanced within +/- 1 gram, the cylinder walls bored and honed, and the entire rotating assembly balanced.  Our Stage 4 built motors can reliably sustain upwards of 550whp, which is in excess of 700HP.  Special crankshaft services such as nitriding and cross-drilling are available. (Core charge exists) 

Because the needs of each customer begin to vary at this point, we offer both the GT30R, GT35R, and GT40R* turbo solutions in our Stage 5 power packages.  When used in conjunction with the smaller GT3071 on race gas, the car is capable of around 400whp (530HP), but the real story is the amazing amount of mid-range torque to handle the race track or the twisties.  The 2.3 liter EVO with a GT3071 or GT3076 is well suited for track / road race use, with the forged internals providing the perfect platform if you decide to employ a larger turbo at a later date. 

*GT40R turbo requires custom fabrication for installation.
